Aren't they cute?! :) I know, they're extremely simple, but I still think they're super cute. I bought onesies in each size from newborn to 12 months. Then I purchased the monthly stickers from this shop on Etsy...she has a LOT to choose from and it was really fast shipping! I pre-washed the onesies, then put the stickers on. Can't get any easier than that.
Hardest part was finding a box that they would fit nicely in and making the box somewhat pretty. I found a box that a scrapbook kit came in...it had a logo right smack on the top of the box, so I had to cover that up. I'm not really into making things super extravagant, so I just cut out pieces with my Silhouette to make a little red wagon, added a little twine, and there you have it...a simple gift box:
And of course, can't forget the card...
I cut out another red wagon with my Silhouette and some letters to spell out "welcome baby" and added a little baker's twine. Nice and simple. :)

If you prefer baby gifts like an edible centerpiece, consider a tower of cupcakes or cakes. Decorate each cake with ice or plastic toppers to match the shower theme.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I bought some when Riley was a baby... I had to go out and buy onesies, etc. when the time came and it was a pain! I totally should do this for a friend who's due in October!!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable! What a great idea.
ReplyDeletewonderful!!! where did you buy your onsies?
ReplyDeleteI got the onesies at Target...they came 3 to a pack. I've also seen the packs of onesies at Walmart that cost a little less than the ones at Target.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea!! I was wondering though, how did you do the sizing? 0-3 month onesie for 1-3 months old and so on?
ReplyDeleteYes, that's exactly how I did the sizing...the monthly stickers can also be removed and put on a different sized onesie if needed.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I just wanted to confirm, did you actually put the sticker on each onesie? Or did you just tuck them in the gift box, so that mama could use the onesie without it?
ReplyDeleteI actually put the stickers on the onesies...but they can be removed so the onesie could be used without the sticker!
ReplyDeleteso cute!! i should have found this sooner so i could have ordered the stickers!!
ReplyDeleteHi! I just wanted to let you know how cute this idea was. I actually recreated the idea... check it out on my blog...

Thanks for the cute idea!
How sticky were the stickers? If that makes sense! LOL And do they kinda fold and crease like stickers? I'm thinking of doing this, but depending on you experience just tucking them in with the onesies and momma-to-be can just put the sticker on as she takes pics or whatever :)
ReplyDeleteTHanks!
@Vanessa - The stickers were fairly sticky...enough to do what they need to, but not so sticky that you could never get them off! (Of course, the stickiness of them may depend on where you purchase them.) The stickers don't really fold or crease that I can remember. They are pretty durable. Also, a suggestion - just knowing how I am, if someone were to give these to me as a gift, I would rather that the onesies already have the stickers on them so all I have to do is put the onesie on my baby and snap the pic and be done! But that's just me!
